PEWDIEPIE: ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT HIM

Pewdiepie is the most subscribed channel in Youtube history, till date (September 2018), standing at a whopping 65 million subscribers (also he has two cute pugs, out of which one is arrogant 😂). He has had a very controversial past and that is the reason he had been removed from the top 5% of the Youtube Adsense. He being one of the strongest voice, has had big fights with news and media companies (like, Wall Street Journal) trying to drag him down. Recently the Youtube and Pewdiepie fight is clearly visible, as almost every other video of his gets demonetised and he was also not mentioned in the Youtube rewind (which is a video appreciating all of the greatest Youtubers), which is a big shocker as he is the king of Youtube.

HIS PAST...

Pewdiepie, or his name Felix, has a girlfriend Marzia who also owns a very successful channel, where she uploads vlogs with a very pleasing vibe to it.

Pewdiepie is still famously known for his gaming videos, as that was one of the main genre of videos he used to upload back in the day (2012 - 2014) until he was creatively exhausted and was tired of keeping up a facade of the "happy" commentary to the games he played. He soon revealed his true opinions and discussed about his opinions openly to his audience, which was first faced with a huge backlash, but the true fans stuck with him and uplifted his decision of the shift in the genre of the content he uploaded. Around the year 2015, Pewdiepie expressed his true self and used to make the kind of videos he loved, and that was kept him happy. Until he once posted something that was religiously controversial, which again sparked the internet, and it was then that he lost his contract with Disney of his office and he had to face a lot of problems.

HIS CURRENT SITUATION...

It is now that he plays games that he loves, and talks about things that he loves, like memes or anything that intrigues him (like, Chris Chan), and I think it is now that he is actually being true to himself and is loving what he does, also he has been active interacting with his fans on his sub reddit page and he had also written a novel "This book loves you" which was a best seller. But that does not mean he has fallen into controversies any lesser, he has been in trouble for calling out Demi Lovato (an artist) for her drug abuse past, Ekta Kapoor (Indian daily soap producer) for calling her out for her poor content, for calling Twitch female streamers as 'thots', he was in trouble as he called his fan base 'bros' and he faced feminist backlash, he was about to delete his channel when he touched 50 million (but that ended up as a joke, even though he actually did think about that genuinely), his Youtube Red show 'Scare Pewdiepie 2' which was not aired and the last but not the least dropping the n-bomb (he is Swedish by the way).

WHY IS HE IN CONTROVERSIES?

Well, it is him not keeping up the "happy" facade that is the problem, as he is truthful to his fans and he is comfortable in making jokes that might be misunderstood (or taken advantage of by news companies) which makes him fall deeper into this spiral. Also, having 65 million followers is not an easy job, even if 1% of his subscribers turn their back, it means 650,000 people writing hate comments on his videos.

WHAT MAKES HIM SPECIAL FROM THE OTHERS?

It is his love towards making videos and sharing honest opinions with his fan base. Being a social media star may sound an easy job, but it is proved that many Youtubers are quitting making videos in just a matter of 3 or 4 years, or taking month long breaks, but Pewdiepie kept on making videos and that is why he has now made 3,500 videos, till date. Also, it is his right timing, he found that gaming channels is something that was not so common in 2011 as it is now, so he found his career in his passion towards playing video games. He did what was then not so common, and that is what made him the king of Youtube for more than 5 years in a row. However, according to statistics, later this year in November, an Indian music company 'T-series' will surpass his numbers and will cross him, only lessening his chances to make an appearance in the Youtube Rewind anymore, which is saddening as it shows how Youtube has now evolved to an Industrial platform of just Music Labels, and nothing else.

WHAT ARE MY OPINIONS?

I purely love the couple (Felix and Marzia), they are just cuteness overload and do what they love. They are happy and content with their lives, plus they have already engaged and are planning for a marriage in the summer of 2019. I absolutely love watching Pewdiepie's videos, even though I personally don't enjoy video games, there is just something about his personal life that makes me just know more about his past and what he feels about his position in life right now, and out of all the things I learnt by watching his videos is that he is very down to Earth and gives equal time to his friends and family as much as he gives to his career. Also he loves anime, so you know he has to be good person from the heart funny 😄 😂

Thats it for My opinion on Pewdiepie and his life till now, and I think you should go and support what he does as well, he is a very generous person from the heart (by the way he has been largely helping and supporting the group of performers who said what Pewdiepie told them to say about Jews, which all somehow settled).
