INSTAGRAM: HOW TO ACTUALLY TAME IT?

I know you are "addicted" to scrolling through Instagram for hours and hours, and it is okay to do that. But the problem all starts here...
"PICTURE PERFECT" PHOTOS
So, here is the problem with most Instagram posts, they are aimed to show how their life is perfect and how they own expensive things and they show it off to get attention, or most of the times they buy it to get attention. This is how every social media platform works, but here is what it (including Facebook) does different. They don't have a limit to scrolling down pictures. That is the problem...
So, what is the solution then? It is simple, follow only pages and accounts that inspire you to achieve your goals, or follow pages that motivate you to work and to work out 🏋 💪. So that at least if you are scrolling through hours worth of content in the medium of pictures, then at least you are investing time for motivation purposes instead of wasting your time down the drain.

"TIME LIMIT" ⏰
But there are many readers that came here to find out the solution to not spending time on Instagram at all, or at least minimise it. The solution may not be as complex as you may have expected it to be. It is to create photos yourself. This way you are being creative yourself, you are spending time outside, and you are making photography as your passion.
The other more effort requiring method, is to just DELETE your account, or if not that, give your account passwords to your trustable friends, and every time you ask them for the password, you need to pay them $10. The more the "addiction" the higher the rate. It is a win-win for both parties in this solution.
Another effective tip is to only use Instagram on any device at a location where you often do not work. This way, the location defines your mood and your mind already knows what it has to do, once it arrives to the allocated locations. For instance, your study room could be the place you never open your Instagram, and the nearest juice shop is the location where you access Instagram. This way you build a healthy habit of drinking juice as well.
Another very effective method is to set an alarm of 15 minutes at the beginning of you opening Instagram every time. This way, when you always convince yourself at the start that you would only use Instagram for a few minutes, 15 then sounds too large and you genuinely believe that 5 minutes are more than enough. Soon you realise it has been an hour since you promised yourself it would only take 5 minutes. So, all this drama can be easily prevented from the alarm idea. 💡
The last one is for people with immense self control, the ones with high brain power. Try to use Instagram every time you finish working at a task. This way Instagram provides a break for you from your work for a couple of minutes. I will repeat again, a couple of minutes. And that is the catch, if it is any longer, or repeated more frequently, then the whole purposes Is beaten.

"BUT THESE TIPS NEVER WORK FOR ME", right?
If you will never follow the tips whole-heartedly then these tips will never work, guaranteed. You need to take this approach seriously and stop getting distracted by millions of accounts trying to gain followers. Just follow the tips TODAY!!! and you will save your most precious asset, "TIME".
